Attending a board meeting
You are welcome to attend any public board meeting as an observer.
In person meetings
If you are attending a meeting ‘in person’ you will be able to listen in to the discussion but not join in. You will only be able to answer a question if you have sent this to the governance team in advance. There is information on how to do this below.
Online or virtual meetings
You can also join meetings online via Microsoft Teams. We will share the link for each meeting on this page in good time before the meeting. If you join online, please put your speaker on mute (this will help to reduce background noise) and turn your camera off. As this is a meeting ‘in public’ but not a Public Meeting, you will not be able to use a ‘chat’ facility to comment or ask questions.
Asking a question to the board
During each meeting, there is time allocated to answer questions from the public. All questions must be submitted in advance, even if you are attending the meeting to ask the question yourself.
If you are unable to attend a particular meeting you can send a question in writing and receive a written response.
Meeting papers
Board agenda papers will be available five working days before the meeting date.
